Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actress. Her fame was primarily in the United States for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised within British Columbia, is Canadian. When she was a child, she started to pursue her passion for acting by engaging in dance and musical theater. She graduated from high school earlier and enrolled in the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Program. She attended an audition at an open audition after having completed the program. It resulted in her being signed with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was where she learned. She began as an one-episode as a special guest, but thanks to positive responses from viewers, and her sharp humor, was soon selected for a return season as a regular.
