Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton as well as the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. Anna relocated to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. In the decade following, she moved in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna has just recently converted to Judaism and the couple married in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in CNN's list of all-time Favorite Television Couples as well as named the most popular Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Its popularity has led to Anna amassing a significant online following on social media.
