She was born in California and began acting when she was just four years old. Her first roles on television were dramas before her big-screen debut. In 1997, her breakout role was as a sexually-charged teenage girl as a sexually-charged teenager in "Eve's Bayou." Her next role was to be a regular character in the sitcom "Cousin Skeeter." A gorgeous and gifted performer, she has made the smooth transition from being a child star as well as a teenager actress, to an adult actor. She played a diverse range of characters throughout her career.
