Summer Glau

 Glau's debut television role was as a guest ballerina in the 2002 episode of the television series Angel. The director who spotted her was JossWhedon, who eventually cast her as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role was played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the part of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was defeated by actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She was Shelly, a high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Gilbert Grissom Eating? " the second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl played by Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in season two's premiere of The 4400, and became the main character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was also her horror-comedy role. Glau was cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a series that debuted January 13, 2008. Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration team sent back to safeguard John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The series' seventh episode, "The Demon Hand" was a series of scenes where Glau (in character as Cameron) performs ballet, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human Doppelganger) in the second season episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau was also a guest on herself in a 2009 episode of the CBS comedy show The Big Bang Theory
